Gather + calm

A monthly gathering to create connection and a safe space for those experiencing anxiety.

Gather + Calm will be held monthly on a Wednesday evening from 7pm - 8pm at Plumeria Wellness in Plenty. There will be 6 places available for each session to keep the groups small. There is also the option to attend via telehealth (microsoft teams). Tickets will be $26 per person for each session.

Facilitated by Monique, a Naturopath and Mental Health Lived Experience worker, these gatherings will focus on:

  • Meditation

  • Mindfulness activities

  • Understanding the mechanisms and body workings behind anxiety

  • Anxiety support tips - lifestyle changes, routines, diet tips, herbs, teas, nutrients

  • An opportunity to share and connect with others along each of your journey’s

Monique has had her own experiences managing anxiety as well as working as a Lived Experience Peer worker in mental health, and supporting clients naturopathically with anxiety. She hopes to create a place for connection in our busy lives of disconnect, as well as educating and supporting the community.

Some months we may do some drawing, colouring or journaling or spend extra time on meditations. Other months we may have someone who'd like to be a focus person of the group to reflect on what's happening for them and to have others share their support and feedback.

Each month Monique will chat through the use of naturopathy in anxiety and how herbs and nutrients can be of use, as well as tips for diet changes to better support yourself. Herbal tea will be provided as well as resources each month relating to the topics covered.
